"It seems that Dr. Victor Frankenstein, once thought to be a character in a story did actually exist and created what we have come to call 'his monster'. Strange as it may seem, Dr. Frankensteien made crude recordings of the mosnter's voice."
And: "Ahh, You have come to see if there is such a thing as Dracula! Many men have come before you, none have ever returned. You will tell the people who walk above the ground that Count Dracula Lives!"

Spooky Tales and Scary Sounds 1974 Mp3
I absolutely love this recording! Great atmosphere in the reading of scenarios as they walk you through great scary scenes. Pure Halloween spookiness! First half sounds like it's narrated by Jonathan Pryce, but it's not! The second half is a transylvanian vampire accent, not bad actually, describing scenarios but mosty introducing sound effects. Too many tracks to list but some are: Haunted Graveyard, Entering a Mausoleum, Witches' Cauldron, Vampires Castle, The Mad Organist, Chamber of Horrors, The Pendulum, Scary Laboratory, and Siren's Song.

The Wolfman Speaks, Lon Chaney's Last Recordings, 1977, on CD
In Non-Living Scary-O! One last project before he had to go, Lon Chaney Jr recorded this children's album with: Bill Martin, Russ Guguere, and Charles Underwood. Very highly produced and well done; a story of a group of kids who go to a haunted house on Halloween. They find a caretaker and the owner, yes, Lon Chaney who relates some scary stories.. Tracks:
1. October Night (4:04) 2. In The Graveyard (1:23) 3. The Talbot House (4:08) 4. The Little Red Knife (4:50) 5. The Rumpus Room (2:07) 6. The Laboratory (2:32) 7. The Party (5:12) 8. The Yellow Ribbon (4:47)
They could not get the licence to even use Lon Chaney's likeness as the wolfman so they used the Oliver Reed version for the cover instead.

Music For Robots on CD
Forrest Ackerman and Frank Coe's original version of what the future may have held for man and machines alike.  A true fan of Sci-Fi has to get this one.  There is another version about the web, but it has 1980's style synthesizer riffs all through it, which I believe ruins the piece.  This was a Mail-Away from the back of Famous Monsters magazine for many years. Music and a slight History of Science Fiction in films.  Bonus Tracks:  Two short Interviews with Forey.  1964

Steam Punk Era Music on CD

What is Steam Punk and what does it sound like? Well, Steam Punk is a Science Fiction premise where
steam power is widely used to create futuristic inventions in a victorian style. This CD presents actual popular songs
from the turn of the last century (from 1900 to 1924). Many of these capture the spirit of adventure or social reform which
was so prevelant at that time and is part of the Steampunk Ethos.

Catchy tunes and interesting lyrics give one a look into the past as well as offering material you could use as background for
some adventures of your own! It is very possible you may find yourself singing some of these melodies before you know it.
So, tinker away on that next contraption or stylish garb, but don’t forget, windshields are not in fasion, so bring your goggles!
